I'm jealous!Everybody has big, open balconies in the apartment complex where I live. In the last week or so, since the weather has gotten so warm, I've noticed that there are a lot more evenings when my neighbors take their musical instruments out onto their porches to play. Right now, as a matter of fact, I can hear the banjo-player who lives across the courtyard from me. This is another one of the things that I love about Memphis...
Also (and unrelated to this post), tell your Professor that we're having a debate about the beautiful (and Kant) over on my blog. We need someone who knows what he's talking about...
I am really looking forward to moving to a warmer climate. It allows for a lot of low-key socializing that does not involve putting up with annoying people and bad cover bands, if you catch my drift. I love hot summer nights, back-yard parties, hot-dogs, beer, and music with friends!!!The professor was notified about the discussion as soon as I read the blog-post. He knows that a lot of people expect him to chime in and he said that he is not at all bothered by the requests. heheheh
Wonderful garden! But I thought you had quit smoking :)(I just remember this from your previous blog. I find it quite admirable when people quit smoking so I remembered it. Though I was never able to quit them nasty cigarettes myself!)Well, it's a kind of habit that rarely goes completely away... Anyway, enjoy this fun spot!
I quit, yes, and I still don't smoke every day. Some occasions, though, seem to always make me want to light up. Bars are hard. Balconies, too. ;)
:) I know what you mean! Mornings do that to me - they might be the prettiest, freshest, most pleasant mornings too..
I can smell the green...mmmm :)
