Books about sisters

My little sister is coming to visit me in December from Bulgaria which is just about the best holiday present I could wish for. We are planning a trip to Oxford, MS to visit Faulkner's estate, Christmas in New Orleans and general sisterly merriment. If you have a sibling that you love, you know what I am talking about.

She is just like this. All the time.

Planning for her visit, I got to thinking about some of my favorite books about sisters: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, of course, but also Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility and The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides. Most recently, Colm Toibin's novel Brooklyn had me in tears largely because of the main character's moving relationship with her older sister.

Relationships between sisters can be so wonderfully complicated!

Any book recommendations?
