Finding time to read

Last night I found myself in a conversation about how one can make more time to read. If you are asking yourself that very same question, read these tips by Robert Bruce. I full-heartedly endorse all five. Also, I add my own little tip which falls under the category of "mental tricks we play with ourselves":
Don't think that "I'm reading a book" has to mean "I'm spending three hours each night devouring this 800-page masterpiece". Read as much or as little as you can. It's better to do a little bit than none at all.
During the week, I read before bed until I start falling asleep and also on my lunch break. I have about an hour each day and usually spend about 40 minutes getting my food ready, eating, watching old episodes of Gossip Girl (don't judge) and the last 20 minutes or so reading. It's less than ideal but it makes me happy.

  1. One of my goodreads shelves is called Sisters/Twins or Twins/Sisters. There'll be some recommendations there.

  2. Cool!!! Will check it out! Thank you for your note, Daisy!
