Sanity is a cozy lie

This is one of my favorite photographs of Susan Sontag. She is wearing a bear suit. I am posting because it makes me smile. I love smart, serious people who don't take themselves too seriously.

I am finishing up Eugene Onegin and getting ready to read either The Migrant Bookclub December 2011-January 2012 title
How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents by Julia Alvarez, The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht or You Must Go and Win by Alina Simone who wrote that hilarious essay about the pan-Slavic hatred of ice that we all loved so much. I want to be reading them all at once but I am so not good at that.

Have you read either of these books? Which one should I start with? What are you reading and/or looking forward to reading?
