I am spending the long Labour Day weekend hanging out with my sweet man and reading James Baldwin's Turkish Decade: Erotics of Exile by Magdalena Zaborowska. I started it last night in protest of the political drivel surrounding the Republican convention (I don't mean to suggests that Republicans are the only ones to blame) and read way past my bedtime. It's utterly delightful.
Also, tomorrow I am going to my first Russian class in close to ten years! I am both nervous and insanely excited! Wish me luck!
Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Or any good book recommendations?
Let me know and, yeah, totally TGIF!
